Iran total foreign trade has exceeded USD 60 billion

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance pointed to the policies of trade boom and stated: Fortunately, despite all the restrictions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran, our foreign trade has been generally satisfactory this year.

(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- Farhad Dejpasand pointed to the country's exports in the first eight months of this year and said there were more than $31.4 billion in exports and $31.1 billion in imports by November 21 this year.

Iran's total foreign trade has exceeded $60 billion and this shows that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been able to overcome the economic pressure caused by the sanctions, he added.

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance further talked about the large volume of goods in Imam Khomeini Port and their distribution among Bushehr, Shahid Rajaee and Chabahar ports, added: The process of clearing and loading of goods in ports has increased and, consequently, the volume of goods in ports has decreased.

He also pointed out the facilitation of obtaining business licenses and said: Business licenses are completed in sectors such as business units and implemented with minimal difficulty and the rest is being facilitated in the collaboration with other related organizations.

This morning, the Minister of Economy arrived in Bushehr province to meet with provincial officials and discuss the problems of economic activists.
